Alder Archaeology Watching Briefs

Watching Briefs

In some circumstances evaluations or excavations are not suitable responses for dealing with the archaeology.  Watching briefs are an alternative approach and are generally imposed as planning conditions by the local authority because the archaeology is of limited value or extent.  A watching brief involves an archaeologist being present to view certain stages of your development to record any archaeology that may be uncovered.  Alder can carry out watching briefs quickly and efficiently to minimise delay and therefore minimise any inconvenience to your development.
