Alder Archaeology environmental impact assessments

Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)

Large developments often require the submission of an EIA before the main part of the planning process. As part of this assessment, the cultural heritage within and around the development must be studied. Alder Archaeology can respond quickly to the developers' needs by producing a rapid tailor-made programme of works (often including desk-based assessments and targeted survey work) with the ultimate aim of producing an essential contribution to the environmental statement.  During this process we will liaise between site developers, local authorities and other relevant parties to provide archaeological advice as the development evolves.
